    Hi Confused,
You may read the requirements needed to file for a fiancee visa if you're planning to get married. One req. is that you have to show the Embassy that your status is single/or if married it has already ended. By supporting this you have to show them your divorce papers before getting married in U.K. Good luck!! :D

    from Manish

    hey buddy,
good to hear from an indian.
i am also an indian citizen (punjabi) but get married in UK.
As per i know if you are currently in The UK you need a special letter of approval of marrige from HOME OFFICE. it will cst you £250 and they will check if you are marrying for papers (means for your own profit) or you really wish to be together. this letter may take up to 6 months.
you need your finace or girlfriend passport and borthcertuficates.

other thing is I dont know if there will be any problem if she is holding a uk and usa passport.

the best i can say is that you go out of the UK and meet your fiance and go to embassy of the uk and apply marrige visa there. it wil coast you £50 and it will be the same day service.
but wait till she is divorced.

    wishes
    Manish

hey cofused buddy i forget to say one thing,,,,
If you are married in europe most of the europeon countries will required SINGLE STATUS CERTIFICATE it means proof that u r single and not married. this will be issued from indian and u have to be present in india.

BUT luckyly in the UK they dont need this paper...

    cheersssss.... :p
