Hi. This forum was very useful for me, thanks for help. Now I'm back with few questions again.

It is almost 1 year since we arrived to the uk and started work.
Soon we are (me non EU national and my wife EU national) should apply for residency card and certificate. EEA1 and EEA2 right?

1 question - when should we do it? Whats is counts - the date when we are crossed the UK's border or first working day here?
    2. I got FMRS visa.It is valid till October. When should I send EEA2? 4 weeks before my fmrs visa ends or I may send them together with my wife's EEA1 this summer?
    3. I got 2 absolutely empty pages in my passport. Is it enough for HO to put all stamps in passport? I do not want to go to my country for new passport, it can be dangerous. Otherwise I have more pages which are used from one size only. There I got just stamps from borders (when you crossing the border they printing small stamp in your passport) I'm bit worry about it. I want to stay here until British passport will be obtained.
Hope that everything will be alright.
4.If we will send document with my fife together how should we send them?2 envelops in one big envelope? Are they going to the same place?

    Thanks very much for help.
    Have a nice day
    Denis

    Hi.
Yes she did, but some questions are not clear yet:

    23. I got 2 absolutely empty pages in my passport. Is it enough for HO to put all stamps in passport? I do not want to go to my country for new passport, it can be dangerous. Is anybody cn help me with that?
    Thanks for help

    You could apply together.

You`ll get your stamps no problem.

Could you get one issued in London.?!

First of all the application is only a formality, and it does not actually influence the further time line except the processing time of the application. The relevant day for permanent residence etc is when you both started living together in the UK.

But there is no point in waiting with the application. It seems that you get the residence card after about two months if you send EEA1 and EEA2 together, or after 6 months if you send the EEA2 separately.

The sticker takes one page, so that should be enough. Once you have the sticker, you do not get any further stamps for traveling in Europe (at least theoretically).

The point I was making these EU visas are not transferable,so It would make sense to have a passport with lots of empty pages.

Now there you find a cryptic statement!

But remember that the residence card is not a visa, it just happens to be glued into your passport. So the residence card is still valid even if the passport is expired. What's more, you are still legally residing in the UK, although it may be difficult to live here without a valid passport.

Hi,Guys. I've been absent for a wile and now I see that you have done loads of work. Thank You very much for all your answers.
It is seems not so bad in my case, so far.

Well, just to make all clear. I do not want to travel anywhere within5-6 years because british nationality is very important from me and I'm really afraid to come back to my country of origin to get a new passport. It is can be dangerous. I'm not a criminal:) Just the country is very closed and likes to treat own sitizens in worth way, do not want to face this kind of treatment anymore.BELARUS, probably you have heard about it. Here i have my wife and son, so I do not want to leave them for a long. So, if I'll get the resedency stamp in my passport - I'll be able to apply for naturalisation after even with 1 empty page in it?

As far as I can see I could apply for EEA2 and my wife for EEA1 together and aplications could be sent to HO after 5.07.06 (the day when we are first time crossed the UK's board and started to live here). IS this right???
If yes - how we should send this applications? To the address for EEA1 forms in 2 envelops? Please make it clear, if possible, thanks.
There is another issue - wife's passport and ID card.
We are going to apply together, BUT my wife going abroad for a wile and she will be need passport or ID card for that. There is a question - could we send only her passport with our applications? Is it will be enough?

For TRIPLE H------"You could apply together.

You`ll get your stamps no problem.

Could you get one issued in London.?!" ---
I wish I could. I'm not British nationality so I this is not possible till naturalisation will be done, or I'm wrong?????

I'm very appreciated for every help from you guys.
    Cheers.

Usually you can also apply for a new passport from your consulate within the UK. Did you ask them? It might take a bit longer and be more expensive, but that's how many people do it when they are abroad.

I just addressed it to EEA1 + EEA2, but I heard that you can just send it to the address for EEA1. Since the applications are processed together, I don't think that you need separate envelops. (Some documents are needed for both applications, anyway.)

"Some documents are needed for both applications, anyway."
Does it mean that I need my wife'S passport for EEA1 and her ID also for my EEA2?

If I will need new passport - I need to register in Belarussian embassy, but to make in I need new passport anyway. Because the new passport will be issued from Ministry of foreign affairs and they are wants to know where I'm living and what I'm doing. Do no want to have a deal with them at all.

Could you tell me please, if i will apply for naturalization, is it so important for UK government that my government do not know where I'm?
May I have citizenship just without any documents (except passport) from Belorussian side?
    Thanks a lot

No, either one is fine, just keep the two applications together.

I have no idea. They could ask for a birth certificate. If you have to renounce your old citizenship, of course they need proof of that, but I don't think you have to any more. So you could be fine with just the passport, as long as it is still valid by then.

    Hello everybody :D

I've got a question (am sure you faced it before) but I still hope you'd help 8)

I am EU citizen from one of A8 countries and next month I'm going to get married in UK to a non EU citizen who's been here in UK for 3 years on student visa which expires on March of 2008. I'd like to know what we should do next in order he could stay here and work full time. (should he apply for EEA2?)I have five year residency permit.

    Thank you in advance :D
