    Hi there!

    Sorry for posting this her. but what to do, i could not see any other option, i try to contact you through PM. but did not work.
    wel, i really need your some more help on the suggestion given by you on one topic few days ago. below is the link. i was to know in more details about applying visa as Dependent on a person on Limited leave to remain. i want to know about application forms and document required for this type of vis.

    Your dependant should provide:


    "- Valid passport or travel document + any previous passport (if held)

    - one recent, passport-sized (45mm x 35mm), colour photograph. The photograph should be:
    - taken against a light coloured (white, off-white etc.) background
    - clear and of good quality and not framed or backed
    - printed on normal photographic paper and
    - full face without sunglasses, hat or other head covering unless for cultural or religious reasons Please note that we may not accept photographs which do not meet these specifications.


    - Visa processing fee (see Visa Fees). Please note that the fees are processing fees. They are therefore not refundable, irrespective of the outcome of the application. Please also note that fees are also payable for children who are accompanying a parent on a parent's passport.


    - your original marriage certificate (if you are married) or your civil partnership certificate (if you have registered a civil partnership) (Original + Copy)


    - your sponsors (spouse/partner) birth certificate (Original + Copy)


    - if you have been married or in a civil partnership before, one of the following documents: - a divorce certificate - a final dissolution order, or - your husband's, wife's or civil partner's death certificate (Original + Copy)


    - evidence of funds available, all bank statements for the last 3 months both for you and your spouse; Originals of last 3 months plus copies of last month


    - a written invitation from your UK spouse/partner and his/her passport, including his/her residence permit if he/she is not a British citizen (Originals + Copies)


    - evidence of your proposed accommodation in the U.K. (e.g. mortgage or rent agreement) (Originals + Copies)


    - evidence of your spouse's/partners employment or prospective employment in the U.K. (to include salary details) (Originals + Copies)


    - if applying as unmarried partners: evidence that you have been living together for the last 2 years (Originals + Copies)


    - You can submit any other document you think might be relevant to your application
    (proof of property, proof of assets, household composition, marriage and birth certificates, proof of previous employment, proof of previous studies, …etc). (Originals + Copies)



    Please bring original supporting documents to your appointment, along with photocopies of all of them. If you do not provide photocopies your original documents will be kept. "

    I really appreciate your help, just last question, so do i need to tick on the box at 'Dependent on a person on long-stay category' on the form..? or i need to write something to another raw showing 'other.....'?

    You can put in "other" and specify your circumstances.

    Thanks Tripe H,

    One of the solicitor advice me to write it down on the row shows.Dependent on long -stay category, but well i belive that this type of category is for spouse of student and the spouse of person on work permit, for me i belive i have to write on another row showing other...
