I a Non-EEA (Afghanistan) family member of an EU national (Czech Republic) here in UK. My wife and I are self-employed, married in 2002 and have residency permit for 5 years (issued in 2004).

I was refused asylum in 2004 which I applied in 1998 (luckily in 2004 Czech Republic came into EU and we got residency permit). At the moment I am just a NON-EEA family memeber of my wife.

In short I do not have any passport or travel document. I applied for passport from Afghanistan embassy in London and got refusal letter that I do not have enough evidence to prove my nationality and the HomeOffice in UK refused my travel document application that I do no fall under any criteria for the travel document.

I do not know what to do as I am stuck in here UK for the last 7 years and want to visit with my wife to Czech Republic this Christmas just for the change.

Any little help here please.

Let me see if I got you right.
You are saying that I should apply for Stateless Person document on the fact that I am unable to prove my nationlity and my own national embassy.

Will the homeoffice consider me a Stateless person now if I make another application.

Hi again

I have been trying invain getting the travel document from the HO.
I managed to get the Afghan passport atlast.
I traveled on it to and did not have any problems getting back to UK. the passport was not even stamped. I took the paper (ICD.0052 document) with which has the stamp and got back with out any problems.
