Hi all

I applied for a FMRS visa in October 2006, and it is still being processed. I understand it may take up to six months, but i have gone ahead and booked a flight with my boyfriend to the states and Australia for February. I am aware that we can get our passports back to travel without effecting our application, but i was just wondering what will happen when i try and enter back into the UK at Heathrow? Will the immigration officers be tough on me as i dont have my visa approved yet? I am pretty confident that we will be approved, i just dont think it will be in time for our trip in 4 weeks. I was wondering if maybe there is a clerence stamp or something i can get before i leave, or maybe i will be okay to travel as is and take my letter from the home office and show immigration that upon my return to the UK?? If i am not able to do that, am i maybe able to come back into the UK and not mention that my FMRS visa is being processed and try to come in as a visitor for 6 months? I am so confused, any help or advice would be wonderful.
