    Can anyone recommend a translator from Dutch to English? i need to have a marriage certificate translated to apply for my EEA2 residence card. What are the requirements for the translation?

    Are you sure you need to send a translation?
    We sent our applications and certificat through a good immigration sollicitor and we didn't have the certificat translated.
    But we are still waiting HO answer.

    that was what i was thinking as well, but I am not sure. What language was yours in?

    I just got off the phone to the Home Office and they said that any documentation does need to be translated into English. If this documentaion is not translated into English , you application my be severly delayed when the translations are requested.
    Also spoke to an Immigration Solicitor yesterday confirming the above.

    well you are right friend. It to have heard some same condition with my one of friend, and he then immediately translated his documentation in english. But i can't understand is really its was so important..
