    Hi,
My wife is British and we got married outside of UK, about 8 months ago. Our marriage certificate is accepted by the home office in UK. Now, I want to apply for spouse visa, as we want the UK to be the primary country of residence. Here is my problem:

I already have a visit visa for one year. Can, I go to the UK and apply for a spouse visa while staying in the UK (remember I will be on visit) or do I have to apply it from the country of residence. I live in Munich and I got my visit visa from the UK consulate in Germany (Germany is not my home country, I am on Work permit here).

Yes, in this case would be Germany if you are there on work permit, working and living.

What sort of visa is that?
