    Hello everyone,

I am a UK citizen and my girlfriend is a US citizen who is coming to study for a year in the UK. My question is if we got married while she was here would that adversely affect her UK student visa? She is under the impression that she would get kicked out, but I can't find any rule saying that you can't get married on a student visa.

The idea basically is that she will come over to study here for a while, we get married, and then hopefully I go back with her when her student visa expires. I've been scouring the net to see if this is actually possible, but as I'm sure you all know its very frustrating.

thanks in advance for any and all help,
    Mark
