    Hi everyone.

I dont know if this question has been asked or not, so if it has then please can someone reply with a link to the previous answer.

Okay, this is my scenerio. I married abroad and now have my wife here on the 2 year probationary period. In April 2007 we need to apply for ILR.

Now here is question: I have been out of work after my wife arrived in the UK and I have been on Job Seeker's Allowance and claiming child benefit for my daughter, Will this mean ILR to my wife will be rejected?

Secondly I live with my parents, therefore all the bills are in their name. I couldn't open nothing in my wife's name because they reject he application when they see its not a British passport.

So I can prove I live at that address but not my wife. Is this essential that I prove my wife is living at that address?

It may take longer to sort out your wifes ILR.Maybe she will get just further leave to remain, another 2 years.
She can not be removed or anything like that.
