Hi All,

My Fiancee and I are planning to marry in Canada and then she's going to come over here. We've got no dependents, and I don't see any issues with the financial side of things.

I've got a (potential) issue regarding accomodation. At present, I'm living on my own in a studio. I'm wondering whether this will be considered too small when she comes over - I'm hoping to buy a place, but I'd naturally like her to be here first

Failing that, is it worth me considering finding somewhere else to rent in the meantime, in order to guarantee that side of things?

Also, does anyone know what sort of documents are required - the government website is slightly vague (aside from the obvious passport, marriage certificate, etc).

Where is the accomodation

Sorry... should have said - London.

 

Just to clarify then, we're basically saying that:

(A) As long as the accomodation is in good condition
(B) As long as there is at least one room for the couple

It doesn't actually matter whether I have a living room, study, garage, dining room, entrance hall, etc, etc
