I am waiting to go overseas on a fiance visa to the UK. Before I can apply my fiance had to apply for some sort of sponsorship. Not quite clear on that. How long COULD it take to get correspondence? She already received a letter stating they received it but would get back in DUE TIME. It's been about 2 months. Not that I expect anyone to know how long it will take. I just want to know how long it COULD take.

What could that indicate though? I am sure if there was a problem they would contact her somehow? They did say they were backlogged, and due time, blah blah. But is their any one that my fiancee or myself could
contact someone and get actual useful information pertaining to the application? Thanks.

 

I wondor what the longest you have heard it taking? It just seems a little weird that it has been this long with no correspondance since the beggining of June. Which was just a letter saying that they got the app and will process it in due time. They told us 2 - 8 weeks and it has been about 9. Oh well, maybe I'm just over anxious. When would be a good time to really call it an abnormal amount of time?
