    Hi,

well me and my fiancee have been together for over 6 months now,

she has gained a working holiday maker visa and is flying to the uk with me next month,
we plan on getting married in march as we are strongly in love.

now how do we actually go about this? Any actual information about getting a COA or how to get married for us?

Also, how would she go about getting permanent british residency so we can stay and live together in the uk permanently as this is what we would like to do once we are married...

Any help would be appreciated, like i say, she already has the working holiday maker visa which starts in aughust and i am a british citizen.

She is a canadian citizen so hopefully it shouldnt be too much trouble.

    Thank You

If you want to get married in the UK you need COA.
WHMP`S can swith visas,so you should be ok.
You could marry elsewhere and apply within UK for spousal visa.

read in a few spaces that whm cant switch visa's, also if we get a COA and get married, then what happens?

We automatically get a spousal visa? Or we have to fly back to canada then apply for a spousal visa?

What happens once we do indeed get a spousal visa? that mean she can stay with me?

We really hoped getting the WHM would have sorted it so we could both just remain in the uk and progress it from there, sounds like we can't settle as a couple properly for over 2 years till everything gets accepted now :(

We dont tend to keep all letters addressed to both of us and all that silly proof of being together generally as we are genuine.

    Where did you read that?

    Link?

Once married , you apply for FLR and that give her 2 years probation period, after thyat you get permanent residence.

Do we have to leave the country to get FLR? At what point during our relationship is the best time to apply for FLR?

Once we apply for a COA and it's accepted does THAT extend the visa at all?

How can we get married without a COA, if it isn't approved?

    Thanks a lot.

ok so we shall apply for the COA, and get married, Then what happens with her visa? It gets extended?

We believe further leave to remain is the best option then?
