It would be great if somebody could help me to ge some clarity on the following.

My partner is a EEA- citizen ( latvian), i am a Non-EEA- citizen (South african). We recently got married her in England and im currantly on a student visa until the end of july.

I want to know if i can apply for a Family Permit from within the UK or if i need to leave the country first. And if so, do i need to go back to South Africa or can i apply from the Brittish High commisin in latvia?

Will i be able to switch from student status to family permit status?

I've got loads more Q's. But can't find any spesific info on the above Q, anywhere on the Inet.
