I've had a good dig around the forums and have not been able to find conclusive answers to my visa questions, so here goes...

I'm an Italian passport holder who has lived and worked in the UK for 3 years. I'm engaged to a US citizen (getting married in Boston in 2 weeks!!)

Now here is where I get confused:

1. Once we are married, can my husband enter the UK on a holiday visa then apply for the EEA2?

2. If he applies in the US does he need to use the VAF1 form or the EEA2, how long (roughly) does this take?

3. Do I need to apply for an EEA1 permit before heading to the US to marry?

4. I need to return to the UK a few days after the marriage. Will my partner need my passport for his application?

5. Will my partner need to enter the UK with me in order to be permitted entry?

6. Will I go mad and turn totally grey haired due to form overload?

any help would be greatly appreciated
