    Hello, We are looking to move to around Valencia city later this year. We would love any information about towns such as Chiva, Liria, Casinos, Pedralba, Bunel, etc from people who live in the area. We have a 5yr old boy, who would be going to the local Spanish school, so any info on schools (ie. how big? any other English kids? etc) would be great. Thanks.

    There are quite a few families moving to those areas and putting kids in Spanish schools, I am in Lliria and my son goes to Spanish school, he has 3 other english in his class and there are about 16 in whole school, but the numbers seem to be growing all the time. I have found it to be a good area to move to all in all, there are expats around, but not enough to spoil the spanish feel, just enough to help you settle in, good luck with whatever decision you make :)

    Thanks for your reply. We are coming down to Valencia next week (7th-14th) to have another look around. We will be renting a house in Liria.....any chance of meeting for a drink or something? It would be great to meet someone who lives in the area. Let us know what you think?

    The number of English in Lliria is growing quite rapidly as LaraineGina says. Hopefully it wont be too many as it would be a pity to spoil a nice town even more.
