Hello everyone,

I am a UK citizen who has been living in Canada for the past couple of years with my Canadian husband. We married in Canada and he sponsored my application for permanent residency as part of the family class of immigration.

We are now hoping to move to the UK to live and I was wondering if anyone had any advice as regards to how he would need to apply to immigrate to move to the UK to live and work? Also, furthermore in terms of my return to the UK as a resident would there be any restrictions that would affect my hubands immigration into the UK?

From reading online I understand that if we have been married at least two years (which is the case) that we would be able to apply for a 'probationary marriage visa'. I am however uncertain as to where / at what stage we can apply for this visa..it is all rather cofusing and any advice would be greatly appreciated.
