    Hi,
My Aussie fiance has just been granted entry clearance to come to the UK so we can get married!
Once we are hitched we'd like for him to start working right away, for which he'll need a spouse visa. Will the application for a spouse visa be as straightforward as just showing them the marriage certificate? Or will we need to provide loads of evidence of our relationship as we've just done with the fiance application?
When he arrives in the UK, is he likely to get a real grilling at passport control!?
    Thanks

They will need to see something like bank statments, pay slips, accommodation details and marriage certificate of course.

I would not expect any problems at the border, but just in case he should have all the documents handy ;)
