I am british and my husband comes from North Africa, he was granted indefinate leave to remain in uk on the saturday 4 days later he has walked out on me. This has just happend. I have since discoverd that he has a finance in North Africa and that he has a girlfriend in the Uk and he Also owes me a lot of money - he as taken credit in my name.

He is still working at his job, do I have any rights - He has obviously used me. I want to know since we are still married, is there anyway he can be sent back. If we divorce does he have to go back. Do I have to proove that he used me or does it mean once he has been granted indefinate leave to remain he can stay. I still have his passport and papers. I would at least like him to pay me back before I give it to him or can he get a copy of the passport anyway.
