hi all, well basically me and my fiancee met on the internet about 4 months ago now and fell in love in what only can be described as a modern day romeo and juliet love affair. I went over to the philippines to meet her to see if what we were feeling was really there. Much to our delight, there is was, we were so happy together, like never b4.
We agreed that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together and decided that we would get married a.s.ap and as soon as we could afford the perfect wedding ceremony obviously.

Now we're on the verge of applying for the fiancee visa for her to come to the U.K. I've gone through the requirements day in day out, thinking and worrying about everything, just trying to find a way to proove to the embassy in manila that we are indeed for real and that we need this chance to continue happily with our lives. We have paid a fee and are in touch with an agency in phils that claim they will do thier very best to ensure the success of the process and speed it up if possible. They also claim to never have been denied a fiancee visa ever before.

I have all the relevant requirements. We've been in contact non stop for 4 months now, u should see my mobile phone bill ;( we have all the internet chats we've had ( talk about invasion of privacy!) and also the amazing photos of us on our meet in the Phils.

I have never been married b4, proof of accomodation is not a problem, i am self employed in the construction industry (will tax receipts do as prrof of working?) and also a semi proffesional musician in a well established band, recieving finance from paid concerts and also radio and television royalties,so therefore very capable of financially backing my fiancee until she gets the spousal visa.

What my main fear is really i guess, is that they won't beleive that we're for real and perhaps delay the application etc. or at worst even deny it completely.!. Is there ANY WAY i can proove to them that we DO intend to get married? Obviously i am upset that we have to put everything down on paper like this, when deep down i wanted to surprise her with her dream proposal and dream beach wedding she's always wanted. Is there a way for me to be able to do this? Maybe i'm askign a lot, but if u don't ask then you don't get right?

    Thanks :)
