Hi there,

Just wondering if anyone might have any advice on this, as I haven't found any info elsewhere. I'm a british citizen, my gf is a mexican citizen, and she is here on a 6 month fiancee visa. We're getting married here in the UK in March and then going straight away on honeymoon abroad for 3 weeks. When we return she'll have a month left on her visa (we'll apply for 2 year extension with FLR(M) on return).

I was wondering if there will be a problem coming back into the UK on her fiancee visa, as technically she won't be my fiancee anymore, but my spouse? There doesn't seem to be anything in the IND rules about it.

If anyone has any experience/advice/knowledge to share it would be really appreciated!

Thanks for the reply; I've emailed IND and now will wait to see what they say... once I know I'll post the info on here, I'm sure this will come up again for someone else at some point...
