Hi

i am a Lebanese national, i have been in the UK for 4 years now on student visa (expires 6/2007), my girlfriend is Spanish and we are planning to get married before i get to a critical time about my visa.

it seemes that the spanish law makes me eligible to acquire spanish citizenship after 1 year of marriage to a spaniard. Do you know if we have to live in spain for that to happen, or it is the same if we keep on living in the UK?

i assume it won't work by hetting married to her then me living there alone, would it?
