    Hello!

I was hoping you might be able to help me....

I am a UK citizen, living and working in France.

I am engaged to an Australian citizen who is in France on a working holiday visa. We are marrying in France in a few months' time and are trying to work out what sort of visa my partner might be entitled to after we are married, as we wish to continue living together in France.

Also, we are not sure who to contact to apply for this visa and what rights it might entitle my partner to (eg. Would she be allowed to work in France after her current visa expires?)

Any information you could give us would be a big help.

    Thanks in advance!

She would gain the same rights as you, though they would be tied to the fact she was married to you. The only way she could be denied the right to work would be if they had evidence it was a marriage of convenience.
