    Hi
I am a french national and have been married for 4year to a Brazilian national. We obtained temporary residency document for 5years, with EEc1 form on the basis that I am a worker. I am now expecting a child and would like to take a year and a half out to look after my child to come.

Is it going to affect any application I make when I have torenew the residence document?

am I entitled to claim child/housing benefit?

If any of you are in a similar situation please advice, everything i read so far is just making me more confused about it, so if you know somwhere i can get clear info about this topic please let me know too. ;)
