✎ EN Moving to London in January - where should I live?

    I like walking everywhere, so nearby pubs, coffee houses, bookstores, dining, parks, arts would be great

    Also a younger, vibrant, eclectic area. But not touristy, and not party central

    I'd like to spend 400 - 700 pounds a week in flat rental. I'm moving from Arizona in the US, so am dreading the January weather a bit, but I love London so much.

    any thoughts?

    Hi Mister Panda,

    personally I like Greenwich you can find pub, coffee houses, bookstores, dining, parks, art there. However it is a bit touristy.
    If you are more in a young, vibrant, eclectic area: Shoreditch or Camden would be more suitable. But you may be party central.
    Well here are just my 2 cents as I have been living in London for only 4 months. However I have never seen any town having one thing and its opposite in the same area. ;) I guess you will have to compromise.
