    Congrats!
    You must be relieved.
Hey, they always say its "under consideration" even long after the application has been completed. We received our residency stuff several weeks ago, but not our passports, and I've called them several times and before I've had a chance to explain the situation, the officer says "your application is under consideration."
Anyway, we did get our passports back today, so we too can go home for the holidays too.
Let me tell you guys that stuff gets delayed even in the mail room. They had a Special Delivery envelop that I had sent and they called me on 1 Dec saying it had been sent out and our passports would arrive the next day, but turns out it just sits in the mail room until they get around to sending packages out.

    Hello everyone,

I just got my residence permit and my husband's and my passport today and wanted to post timings as it has been useful for me to read other's peoples messages with this info.

Applied for Residence permit: 14 October 2005 (application received on 15 Oct.)
Date of issue: 13 December 2005
    Passports received: 15 December 2005

It's been a total of 8 weeks. I called the Home Office a three or four times to ask the process of the application (they always said "awaiting consideration", last time I called, a couple of weeks ago, they had changed to "under consideration").

    Good luck to everyone.

    Fees????

What are the fees associated with applying for an EEA1 and EEA2? I have found the forms, however, cannot find the amount for the fees?

Is it like £50K (just kidding  )? But seriously when I did research about work permits and fiancée visas, the fees varied from £75 to £260.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

I have called the HO for the status of my EEA1 and EEA2.
On Monday it was 'Awaiting further consideration' and yesterday it had changed to 'under consideration'.
Does anyone know what happens next?
    Is there another status change?
    How long will this take?

    Thanks a lot .
