    Hi everyone,

    I just want to invite anyone from Canada who is looking to immigrate to Scotland, already in the process of immigrating to Scotland, or even already over there to join my organization that I have formed. Its called Canada In Scotland (www.canadainscotland.com).

    There has been a big push by the Scottish Executive to reverse the migration which, trditionally, has seen Scots come to North America. First minister Jack McConnell even toured Canada in late October to promote this new initative. I, myself, am trying to get over there.

    This new group has been formed to assist people when trying to get over there. I am trying to get as many applicants and potential applicants on board as I believe there is strength in numbers when dealing with government. The Scottish Executive has been informed of the organization and seem willing to cooperate. I am meeting with them when I go over in December, so hopefully it will take off.

    Anyhow, drop by the site and send me an email to be put on the mailing list. There is no charge for joining or for anything else involved.

    Hi Rob, I am also a Canadian interested in moving to Scotland and I was wanting to learn more. I went to your webpage, but I dont know if ist not loading properly or you haven't finished it yet. But please let me know more if you can.

    What is that "special" relationship between Canada and Scotland ? I hear a lot of Canadian wanting to move to Scotland (not London or England) and some of my acquintance from Scotland are in Canada right now. The coldness ? ;-)

    :D Yes, us Canadians love the cold and it does get chilly in Scotland :)
    A LOT of Canadians have Scottish ancestors, including me. The family connection and clan-ishness still exists. I have visited Scotland and would love to live there. Right now I live in Oklahoma and would do anything to get out of here. (It's cold here right now too!) ;)

    My grandparents were Scottish.
