Europe and Great Britain have a 90 day visa waiver program for citizens of these countries, meaning she does not need a visa to go to the US, but will still need a valid reason to be allowed in. Tell her NOT to say she wants to get married, as any intent to settle in the US will be stopped at the border by immigration officials. If asked what she wants to do in the US, tell her to just reply that she is visiting family and friends, and that she is on holiday and would want to go to DIsneyland and do some shopping.

Once in the USA, then she and her boyrfriend can get married. They just need to apply for a marriage license, possibly undergo medical tests (in some states) and then choose the officiant and then get married! Then the husband can now start filing for her spousal visa papers and while this is in process, she can already start working.

I need HELP!!!!!!!! My Boyfriend is a citizen of the UK, I am a UA citizen. We want to marry and him live here. What is the best and or easiest way to go about it?
Should I fly to London, we get married and then come back here? Or should he fly here and us get married in the USA?
I have been combing over all the info I can get my hands on and so far I have not really gotten anything remotely close to a clear answer.
    Which is better a k1 or a k3 visa.
Why does the goverment need to make it so hard to marry and be with the person you love?
I can be reached at brilliantbaby44@aol.com

Go to Canada or ask the Church of England

It is really easy to get married in Canada. If you go to Nova Scotia for instance, there is a 5 day waiting period (they call it a cooling off period) after you apply for your marriage license. There is no residency requirement, and a Canadian marriage is recognized in the US and in the UK. As well, if you go to Ontario, or Alberta, there is no waiting period.

It is really easy to get married in Canada as I said, and you don't need to be a resident.

Another option to look into is getting married in the Church of England, in England and Wales. As far as I know there is only a 7 day residence requirement (for 2 foreign nationals - don't know about one British National and a foreign national), and you can either swear an oath (to the tune of £70) or do the publishing of the banns, 3 consecutive Sundays of your names being read and people in the church being asked if they know any reason why you should not be married.

My husband and I are both foreign nationals, and we were able to get married in the church of England without needing any special visas.
