Bird flu

Bird flu is an infection caused by avian (bird) influenza (flu) viruses. These flu viruses occur naturally among birds. Wild birds worldwide carry the viruses in their intestines, but usually do not get sick from them. However, bird flu is very contagious among birds and can make some domesticated birds, including chickens, ducks, and turkeys, very sick and kill them. Now--days antivirals are available in the market to counter this dreaded disease.
Bird Flu viruses do not usually infect humans, but several cases of human infection with bird flu viruses have occurred since 1997.
Now-a-days a large no of antivirals are available in the market counter this dreaded disease.

 

Very good and contemporary topic. I found so many forums are talking about this and even in google group I found there are so many posts on this topic. One of the post is talking about the antiviral of bird flu.
