Shoptime Can I obtain EEA Residence Document in this situation?

    I am German and want to move to the UK soon. I have a permanent distance job in Germany, that gives me and my non-EU wife enough money to live in the UK without help from public funds

    Can Home Office consider me as an economic self-sufficiency person, so
    my non-EU wife can obtain an EEA residence document, that gives her rights to stay and work in the UK?

    If you can provide proof of economic self-sufficiency, you should be fine. Alternatively you can register a business to activate your Freedom of Movement Rights which entitles your wife to residence and work permit.

    Thanks for the answer As a proof of economic self-sufficiency I can provide only wage slips from Germany.I dont know, does HO accept it or not...

    Don't you think that registration of a business is a more complicated way and also needs a lot of money? I must send to HO bank statements(for both personal and business accounts), invoices, audited accounts etc...It's written on the HO home page

    So, what is better?

    If you want to stay in The UK as a self sufficient person, you have to have an all risk insurance, if you check in the web page of the homme office it doesn't say, but when i explained my case to a lawyer she told me that.
    I hope this will help you
