    Greetings,

    I am an American living with my Belgian wife In America and we have never lived in Belgium. I will be going to the UK first, to live and look for work before she would arrive.

    What are the requirements and or my rights in the UK or any EU country for that matter.

    You have same rights as a UK citizen (with the exception of voting rights). So also is your wife.
