Is it possible for me to get UK citizenship or residency if my spouse is British (I am American) and we live in France?

Thanks in advance for any insight

    Hello,

You can only get UK citizenship if you have been living in the UK for at least 3 years.
If you are planning to go and live in the UK you can maybe get the Uk residency but not if you are planning to stay in France.

More info on this website: http://www.ind.homeoffice.gov.uk/conten ... /home.html

    I hope this helps

    Joanne
