Iam going back to EU(Dublin) from Bangkok, accompanied by my wife.As uk passport holder I will have one way ticket. She has got 90 days initial visa which we will extend to resident (married to EU national.)
Does she needs to get return, which would be waste of money in my opinion,or 1 way be ok.?Sometimes I was told staff at the airport or even customs can make a big fuss about it .I am bit confused/
    Anyone?

Except if she's got already the official papers granting her long term residence (but you say that she's got a 90 day visa initially), I'm afraid that she will have to buy a return ticket.
