My husband was born in Canada but since his parents were from Spain he has also a Spanish passport. We are about to get married and I was wondering what is the procedure for getting a residency card for Spain? We now live in Canada but we are planning in two years to move to Spain. I am also a Canadian citizen.

What sort of documentation I need to submit to be able to get my residency card for Spain?

Does that residency card allow me to also work in Spain or I have to get another document for that? I

f I understood correctly I can only apply for residency card in Spain not in a Spanish Consulate?

Do I have to register the marriage at the consulate in Canada?

I apologize for asking all these questions but the consulate in Toronto only works few hours a day and it is hard to get to speak to someone.

    Thanks
