I have a question. If we meet up at 7 pm, were do you plan to eat? Before you come, in Cafe Oz (but I don't think they serve food...) or somewhere else later?

Ha, good question.
If anyone fancy having a bite somewhere, then we sure could organise that thursday.

But I'd be surprised if it doesn't end up with most hungry people buying their paninis, kebabs or pizza slices on the St-Denis street ;-)

You see, the issue is that people should be able to arrive and leave when they please, which means that organising a diner will be kinda tricky...

I finish work around 18h, but I shouldn't have any problem getting there on time...

Well, ours was nice. We had about 15 people turning up, One brit, one aussie, one kiwi, one canadian, one egyptian, one american, a bunch of indians, a few frenchies, a couple of portuguese, and that's all I can remember..

The pub was not too bad, and not as crowded as I expected. Plus, we had a big table just for us (probably thanks to Melaine actually).

We'll organise one again next week or in 2 weeks time (on a Thursday, in pure EasyExpat tradition). Stay tuned....

For a first meet up ,it wasnt bad at all, started off by a spilt beer by none other than tht one and only LAM ;-) i had a nice time and was happy to meet some new and interesting people.Apparently some people who came for the meetup couldnt find us which is a bit tragic considering that they were girls! Anyways next time it wont happen for sure.

Lam, could you pls make the next meeting after the 18th? cos I will be out of Paris till then. If not, no probs..maybe the 3rd time.

Alrite then, i will stay tuned! ok, back to sleep ..zzzzz

hi! i've just been reading all these messages about you all meeting up, we will be moving to paris end of sep/start of oct this year and it would be really nice to meet up with some of you.
would there be any chance of you keeping in touch and letting us know when you will be doing it again?
will be over a couple of times before then though for job interviews and to search for places to live.
