    Hello everyone!
My name is Sebastien, I’m originally from France and currently living in Poznan , but im looking to move in Warsaw.
I moved here to start a new professional chapter, as I recently secured a Technical Support Tier 1 position. I found the opportunity through a combination of online job platforms and personal networking. The process was smooth, and the interview experience made me feel confident that Poland would be a good match for both my career goals and personal growth.
I plan to stay in Poland for at least a few years, depending on how things evolve professionally and personally. For now, I really enjoy the pace of life here, and I’m excited to explore more.
The move itself was quite structured — I had done a lot of preparation beforehand. I had visited Poland before, so I wasn’t entirely stepping into the unknown. That said, the first steps were still a bit of a culture shock, mostly due to administrative processes and, of course, the language barrier!
The easiest thing to adapt to? The people — I’ve found most Poles to be warm, helpful, and curious about why I chose Poland.
The hardest part? Definitely the language! I’m actively learning Polish, but it's a challenge when navigating public services or reading official documents.
I’m not currently researching ancestry or citizenship, but I do follow the immigration forum closely — lots of valuable insights there!
Looking forward to meeting fellow newcomers and longtime residents alike. Don’t hesitate to reach out!
    Dziękuję i do zobaczenia!
    Sebastien
