    By living in Paris you may have tips to give to those who wish to visit and stay on holiday in your area.

    When friends or family come to visit you, what activities do you offer in Paris? Are you rather city, museum and monuments, or then change of scenery in the countryside and trekking?

    What are the essential places? What are your tips to better organize this stay in Paris whether for a weekend or for a longer holiday.

    I am visiting the city this Christmas with my family and I wanted to see what events, markets, or festivals people recommend. Are there can't miss events between Christmas and New Years Eve? I will be with my 4-year-old and father-in-law, so family friendly is great.

    We actually saw the protests in November in Normandy! But nothing in Paris at this time.
