    Hi all,

    I am married to a polish girl.we will have been married for 2 years soon.Now We are living in Scotland .I would like to ask when I will have a right to apply for residence card in Poland and can i apply for it through Polish consulate in Edinburgh?

    Yes you can apply for Polish Temporary Residence card ( issued for upto two years ) because your wife is Polish. You can do so in Polish consulate in Edinburgh ( or consulate general in London ). It will take around six months to be processed. However, you cannot apply for permanent residence or anything of that sort because you are not living in Poland.

    HI all,

    Thanks for prompt answer.my temporary card will be expired in April in (in poland).now I am wondering when I would like to go to poland which kind visa I have to apply for? do i have to apply for a temporary card (up to 2 years) again?

    Yes thats right. You will have to renew your temporary card and it will be issued again to you for upto two years.
