i am getting married in march 2010 in ireland. im dual citizenship born in england of irish parents hence i have an irish passport and a british passport. my husband to be is a pakistani national who holds a student visa. i run my own business so he would become a working partner and would b not studying anymore. our concern is that his student visa expires at the end of january 2010. do we have to consult INIS or when we give our paperwork to the civil registrar would we require something from INIS for that???????? please help............and would there be an interrogation for both of us after marriage from INIS.......

As soon as you are married your husband should apply for a Residence Card of a family member of a Union citizen (Stamp 4 EUFam), using form EU1, as the spouse of a British citizen who is exercising Treaty rights in Ireland.

    It is free.
