Did you dad's status change, from whatever his citizenship was to American? If he married a US citizen, then at after the marriage the US citizen should apply your dad a "change of status" from whatever visa he had that time to enter the US, to a spouse visa. After 3 years of being married and being employed, then your father can file for citizenship, and in turn, can file for your papers.

In the meantime, if you want to stay there, i suggest you explore getting a student visa. Or marry a US citizen yourself. Easier said than done though.

    thanks for your answer.
well like you said its easier to say than done
my dad is actualy permanent resident now ......he could sponsor me but i won't be able to work or get out of the us (it's a mess)
for the student visa i will need to go out of the country some thing that i can't do now(because of school).
any way i realy think that to get married is my last option....i need to think about that more.
    thanks a lot any way.
