    Hi all,
was wondering if anyone could help..my husband recently applied for FMRS resid.stamp, he applied around 18th november, we have received letter from home office this week that they are processing it and it may take up to 6months, which i sok...however, will the 6 months count from when they sent the letter or from when we applied..coz its a month and smthing diference..and also the letter from Home office states: regarding your aplication for Residence card...not resid.stamp...does that mean they made a mistake ? husband will be eligible to applpy for resid.card in april 2011.
    can someone advice?
    thank you all

Six months count from the day your application was received by Home Office.

FMRS is a stamp in your husband's passport so no, they didn't make any mistake.
