✎ EN EEA2 Confusion

    hi ya!

    i submitted my eea2 application on the 22nd of august 2007 and believe me upto now i didnt hear any any thing from the home office,at the BIA website its written that they r working on the applications which has been submitted at september so hoew can that be while mine was since august.i rang the home office and they said its still awaiting further consideration.i really dont find them helpfull at all im really so confused and worried.i sent off with the applicartion my step dad's who im depending on his residence blue card i mean regestiration certificate but i was thinking is it like they are awaiting his passport or awaiting some more info from me ??i really dont know because i thought this blue residence card is enough to show he is european which he just been granted the end of july 2007.rthnzx lots for ur help looking forward to hear ur sugeestions soon

    I would not worry about this. The times given are only approximations, and there are many cases reported here where it took just over 6 months to process the application.

    If they want something from you, they will send a letter asking for it. I don't think that the registration certificate is sufficient, but they may still have a recent copy of his passport.

    thnx loads for ur reply but do u think i should write to the home office asking about detalied info about the process of my application.cos on the confirming lettter they said we advise u not to telephone or mail us to ask about ur application cos it will delay the procedure.thnnnnnnnx
