Jumping into expat life can be confusing and isolating, but one of the benefits of sites like Easyexpat and Blogexpat is to help bring together the expat community. Not only do we provide full city guides and resources for your move and life abroad, we share expats stories, blogs, and interview expats from around the world. While everyone's story is different, it can give you strength to know that the challenges you face are not so different from those around you.
That is why we are putting the word out about the largest global research programme into those living outside their country of origin. The Expat Survey Programme is hosting the most extensive independent global research programme ever conducted on expatriates. With the participation of people around the globe, we can learn more about why people move abroad, what factor social media plays on expat perception, and how well connected expats stay to their country of origin and host coutry.
The survey is taking place in three parts.
The first part of the survey, out now, will take you 15 minutes. The closing date of the survey is December 31st, 2013 so be sure to enter before the end of the year. As an added incentive, participants are entered to win £1,000 cash (or opt to donate to charity).
