KVUC is the Copenhagen Adult Learning Centre. All adults of 18 years and more have a right of access to General Adult Education. Upon successful completion of basic exams, the adults have a right of access to general adult education at upper secondary level, with a corresponding obligation for the regional authorities to ensure provision of such education in accordance with the law.

Additionally, KVUC gives lessons in

  • Very basic Danish and mathematics
  • Special education for dyslexic people
  • Danish as a second language and other subjects, especially for people with an ethnic background other than Danish
  • Specially arranged further training for a large number of public as well as private businesses and institutions in Copenhagen
  • Competency development and retraining of unemployed people for municipal and national employment offices.
