Where to find apartments for rent?

Postby iseethelight » Sat Jun 04, 2011 12:56 pm

Hey guys

This is my first week in Germany and I desperately need to find a 2 bed apartment in Frankfurt before my family arrive on June 25th. I have of course been using immobilienscout24 but does anyone have any other good resources for finding apartments?

We hope to live in westend, northend or sachsenhausen and are willing to pay up to 2000 EUR a month (warm).

Thanks!

Matt.

Make sure to check out the EasyExpat guide to Frankfurt. There is a section on finding housing.

In Berlin, I use:
Wg-gesucht.de
Berlin.craigslist.org
Studenten-wg.de
Sublet.com

There are also occasional listings on Toytown- http://www.toytowngermany.com/frankfurt/. They also have great info for Germany.

Good luck!

Many thanks for the information texkourgan!

I had tried all the suggestions on the frankfurt guide but most of the suggested places all take commission and I am hoping for commission free.

Thanks again

Matt.
