Survey on voting rights for American expats in the Netherlands
The right to vote in the country of origin for citizens living abroad is a much-discussed topic in the academic world. However there hasn’t been much research about the opinions of the citizens personally.
For this reason a research is being conducted on the voting behaviour of Americans living and/or working in the Netherlands. This research is part of a master thesis program Human Geography at the University of Amsterdam.
Through the survey Americans living abroad can give their opinion about the discussion on the right to vote in country of origin elections. This survey contains questions on whether they have voted and, if so, how they cast the vote. The data will be used anonymously and the answers are confidential.
If you are an American citizen living and/or working in the Netherlands and if you care about your voting rights, let us hear from you fill out the survey on http://questionnaire.syzygymedia.nl It will take less than 10 minutes of your time.
Thank you for your cooperation and time!
