I'm an Australian in Paris for the next 6 months to study French and build a network of friends and contacts. I would like to volunteer and work for a large company 1 - 2 days a week. As I am not yet fluent in French I'm looking for large international companies based in Paris with an office culture speaking in English. I see this as an opportunity to meet people and keep my brain active. I'm an experienced project manager and have excellent computer skills.

If anyone has any suggestions I would be very grateful.

    Merci,
    Andy

    Hi Andy
First of all, welcome on the forum.
To volunteer in a big company is not going to be very easy. Usually voluntary works are carried out in voluntary associations, or humanitarian organisation (such as UN for the biggest ...). For all of that you've got a Maison des associations (house of associations) in les Halles in Paris where you will find information.
However I guess you are more trying to find a position as a professional in a company. You might have more chance in contacting temping agencies for that kind of need...
    :salute:
