Can anyone help with this...I'm a UK citizen with permanent residency status in the USA. I'm currently living in the UK and my daughter and granddaughter, who are US citizens, are coming for a visit. I would like to take them to Tenerife while they are with me but I do not know what the requirements would be regarding a visitors visa for them, and haven't a clue where to look, or ask. They both travel on a US passports, while I have a UK passport.

A normal passport should be enough to go to Spain for US citizens, up to 90 days. If you want confirmation, you can either ask a travel agent or the Spanish consulate.
