Hope you can help. I am a US citizen (born in the US) and my fiance is from Northern Ireland but has been living & working in NY without legal documentation for over 2 years. We want to be married here in the US then when he gets his papers travel back to Ireland to "re-marry" with his family present. We are still not sure of where we would like to live for good but would like the option of staying in NY or the UK.

I was just informed that even if he is granted his travel papers and we are married that he could still be deported and kicked out of the US for 10 years if airport authorities decide to be nasty. What do we do?!! Please help me, this is so frustrating. Thank you.
