Hello all

Need some help understanding the tradeoffs on a decision we need to make. Variables are:

-- Best place to live
-- Best place to send kids to school
-- Reasonable commuting distances

We are moving to Milan this August with 3 elementary school aged children. My husband will be working in Origgio. It looks like we have 2 American school options: American School of Milan (ASM) and Tassis American school in Switzerland.

Friends have suggested that Varese is a beautiful place to live but would only work if our kids attended Tassis.

Alternatively, we can live closer to the city and attend ASM.

Would welcome opinions on these 2 schools and choices on where to live.
