    Hello,

My wife and I just moved to Belgium. She has a post-doc position and I have a full time employment contract. My understanding is that her post-doc position is not a salary but a grant. Do I then count her as spouse with no professional activity and get some taxes as a refund? Or does she count as spouse making more than 206€/ month?

Even with a grant it might be accountable for some tax declaration.
However in many cases, student grants cannot be considered by immigration offices in order to assess if you have enough money to live abroad without being a burden for the social system. But your full time employment contract should be enough for that.
